The research aims to detect recent changes in the annual and seasonal minimum temperature in the Benghazi region by analyzing the monthly rates using simple linear regression analysis and the t-test, The results revealed clear trends towards an increase in the annual minimum temperature at a statistically significant level of less than 0.001, Where the increase amounted to about 0.874°C, while the seasonal rates recorded an increase in the seasonal rates of the minimum temperature with a statistical significance of less than 0.001 in all seasons of the year.

The increase ranged between -0.637 1.1 A.D.

in favor of the second period of the study 1981-2010.
