Abstract EN

Many generations of scholars have made a great effort to serve the Noble Qur’an, including Imam al-Fakhr al-Razi who wrote the book (nihayat al-ijaz fi drayat al-ijaz), authored this book because he appreciates the knowledge and to prove the miracle and eloquence of the Qur’an.

Imam al-Razi is known as an interpreter and a creative thinker.

therefore, in this book, his linguistic and rhetorical efforts nearly disappeared.

However, his rhetorical book had a great role in building the science of rhetoric.

because of the importance of this book, its stature, and its role in the development and construction of the science of rhetoric, I studied it in a descriptive study.

the title of the research was: (nihayat al-ijaz fi drayat al-ijaz by Fakhruddine al-Razi (D 606h), a descriptive study) so that this paper is based on a brief translation of al-Razi, then its three sections begin with al-Razi’s goal of authorship, the reason, and the method.

the second section is about the style of al-Razi in the book, the composition, the evidence, the most important sources, the classification, and the impact on who came after.

finally, the third study is an exemplary study of the euphemism in which it compared between al-Razi and the people before and after him.

the research proves that the book is one of the advanced rhetorical books without dispute among scholars, and it does not differ much from the books of al-Jarjani.

moreover, I did not see anyone prefer another book in this art except the books of Abd al-Qaher.

however, we find in more than one place someone who mentions him, along with Abd al-Qaher’s books, for keeping the categories of rhetoric in its monotonous form.
