Abstract EN

The research deals three main topics the nature of relations be- tween Iraq and Kuwait during the era of the government of former Iraqi Prime Minister Dr.

Haider al-Abadi for the period between (2014- 2018).

The first topic deals with the effects of the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait on August 1990 and was followed by political developments.

And the War for Iraq, (Desert Storm) in 1991, which had significant im- pacts on the reality and future of relations between the two neighboring countries.

In the second topic, the research talked about the relations from the American invasion of Iraq in the spring of 2003 until 2014, the many Iraqi government continue the relations Mitnessed, despite their improve- ment, the survival of many political, economic, financial and humanitarian files that exist without radical solutions to them despite the change of Iraqi governments in the political scene.

The third topic, deals Mith Iraqi-Kuwaiti relations during the era of the government of former Prime Minister Dr.

Haider al-Abadi, and the great improvement that they witnessed in the way of normalization between them in all fields.

Despite the remarkable improvement in Iraqi-Kuwaiti relations after 2011, after long decades of tension and deterioration due to previous poli- Cies since the 1990 invasion of Kuwait, and its repercussions on relations be- tween the two countries, until the gradual improvement in bilateral relations between the two countries began after 2014.

However, the tension that may occur from time to time according to political or media stances emanating from this party, or that, disturb these relations, and make them vulnerable in the future to the stage of fluctuation between the continuation of improve- ment, or a decline in relations.
