آراء ابن كيسان النحوية والصرفية في شرح السيرافي على كتاب سيبويه: جمعا ودراسة

Abstract EN

This research is devoted to collecting and studying Ibn Kisan’s grammatical and morphological opinions on the Serafi explanation of Sibawayh’s book, and comparing them with the views of the previous and later grammarians, and concluded with the following results: 1- The Serafi did not mention the opinions of Ibn Kisan that were contrary to his opinion as an objection at all.

2- That the Serafi in some instances does not ascribe to the Kufis the opinion that Ibn Kisan agrees with them on, but rather attributes it to him.

3- The majority of these views are in opposition to the Basris and choosing the Kufis school of thought.

4- That Ibn Kisan tends to listening to various views.

5- Ibn Kisan does not stand against an analogy to what deviates, when it is not abnormal in use.

6- Ibn Kisan is a brave grammarian, independent in his vision and opinion, and perhaps this is what led some grammarians to criticize him, and belittled him for mixing the two schools of thought and not mastering them.

7- The great grammarians’ attention to Ibn Kisan’s views, and using them in their works, is evidence of his important position.
