This reading aims to reveal the reality of the spurious Algerian historical narration through certain narrative texts whose authors were unable to escape the unconscious colonial mindset and pretended as stereotypical images of an Algerian-self-denial and a glorified French-other, by relying on the book "Zunat al-Tarikh" (the fornicators of history) authored by Rachid Boudjedra which served as a pillar of this research.

while delving into this satirical and daring book, several questions arose and bounded this work, the most important among them are: -what are the aims of Algerian novelists from distorting history? is it a desire to please the other in order to gain awards, or just an attempt to whitewash a tarnished memory?.
