The article reveals the nature of the audiovisual recording of the child victim in the crimes of sexual assault, in addition to defining its purposes and the conditions that govern it in the Algerian legislation and its approach with the provisions that regulate it in the French legislation.

the study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of this procedure in protecting children from the harmful effects and consequences resulting from sexual crimes, highlighting its importance in the field of evidence and understanding the circumstances of the crime during judicial procedures.
