Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to shed light on the impact of the veto (objection) on the work of the international criminal court and its role in impunity as an international judicial body specialized in pursuing the perpetrators of the most serious international crimes stipulated in the Rome statute, within the framework of what the security council enjoys of the powers granted to him under chapter vii of the charter of the united nations as well as the Rome statute, in light of the current international situations, especially what Sudan, Libya, Syria and Palestine are going through.
