This research addresses endowment for Al Aqsa Mosque in the Ottoman Era as of 922 AH / 1516 AD to 1333 AH / 1914 AD, with respect to the endowed properties and disbursements.

The endowments for the Two Holy Mosques varied, including lands, houses, inns, dyeing shops, soap factories, baths, and revenues of some duties and taxes, including Jizyah and other taxes.

The purpose of such endowments was to provide the needs required by the Holy Mosque such as reconstruction, renovation, and paying the wages of its labors, including Sheikhs, Imams, preachers, Quran reciters, teachers, and preachers.
