Abstract EN

this study aims to identify the reality of e-learning in Algerian universities and its impact on academic achievement by highlighting the Moodle e-learning system model to find out the trends in its use by the sample and follow the course of the educational process that takes place within the Moodle system.

this study falls within the exploratory studies that aim to test the social phenomenon.

in order to answer the study questions, an electronic form was prepared and distributed to the study sample, estimated at 200 students from various Algerian universities.

among the findings that one of the most important factors for the success of the educational process is the need for a strong infrastructure with continuous addressing of the gaps that the platform is exposed to, as well as the presence of a significant segment of students who are aware of the importance of e-learning and its role in raising the quality of their academic achievement.

the study recommended the need to pay more attention to the field of e-learning, whether by relying on the Moodle platform or by using remote lecturing techniques, in addition to working on setting up training and educational courses for students to learn about the Moodle platform and its advantages.
