Abstract EN

This study aims to analyze the relationship between ethical leadership and the development performance of the administration of the Waqf sector in Algeria in terms of qualitative analysis.

It is conducted through the use of the approved approaches of the qualitative analysis which depends on the analysis of the views of a sample of administrative leaders of the Waqf sector in Algeria, who explain the impact of leadership behavior which is based on the ethical values and principles on the development performance of the Waqf sector in the light of administration directed by ethics.

To achieve that, the program Nvivio12 was used to elicite the results of the approved approaches of the qualitative analysis, which is related to the data of interviews.

These interviews were conducted with seven leaders in the Waqf sector as experts in the Waqf domain and administration leaders or they deal directly with senior leaders in the Waqf sector in Algeria.

The study reached several results.

The most important one is that the improvement of the development performance of the Waqf sector in Algeria requires reinforcing ethics in leadership, directing the Waqf activities, as well as constructing a special office for Waqf to provide a work environment addressed ethically.
