Geophysics is one of the most important sciences with a strong relationship to archaeology that can help ar-chaology in the field of research and detection of antiquities.

This is at a time when exploration and most aspects of the excavation are still depending on manual skills.

With recent scientific developments and technology, archaeology has accelerated the use of technological means to keep pace with science>s findings in the field of scientific research.

A number of sci-entific methods and techniques have been used and applied in ar-chorological field work, including the use of geophysical technology in surveying and detecting the human remains under the ground that cannot be seen with the naked eye.

The use of geophysical methods and techniques contributed to shifting survey work and upgrading detection methods in an excit- ing and effective manner through offering extensive information on archaeological work, as the methods used in the survey and discov-ery of archaeological sites have been simple and based on tradition- al techniques and simple tools.
