One of the most important problems facing specialists in the training process is how to measure physical abilities and give them digital values that help specialists to employ them.

In addition, the lack of accurate objective tests, as well as “that if these tests are found, they do not have standards that enable the coach to assess the player’s immediate condition, in addition to the process of giving value to the skill performance is an important process that helps the coach to choose the player during the match and the nature of the competition.

The study aimed to identify the explosive ability test of the legs and its relationship to the jump shoot skill performance among al-Safwa University College players, and to identify the relationship between the explosive power of the legs and its relationship to the jump shoot skill performance among al-Safwa University College players.

The researcher used the descriptive approach in the survey method and correlational relationships in conducting this study, and this study was conducted on a sample of 17 players in al-Safwa University College.

The researcher concluded that the explosive ability test and the jump shoot test for basketball players were identified and the presence of basketball players.

A significant correlation relationship between the explosive ability of the legs and its relationship to the jump shoot skill performance by taking advantage of these scores to know the status of basketball players, as well as applying such tests when selecting players.
