Abstract EN

This study deals with the dynamic of imports and culture of western literary criticism concepts and terms in the Arab culture.

It inquiries about the levels these concepts are received at by Arab critics and translators, and to what extent they were cultured in the Arab system of literary criticism.

It also looks closely at the hardness to get critics adopt a unified use of terms while each one of them grips to the terms they produced.

The result is a messy bunch of terms for one foreign term.

Plus, this study looks at the concourse of concepts and entanglement of terms due to the failure of the language academies that didn't accompany continuous progression, neither by dampening nor by regulating it.
