Critics differed in defining the concept of the artistic image and the artistic image in the literary heritage is often synonymous with what falls under the science of rhetoric such as analogy metaphor and metaphor.

It is well known that Mirza Muhammad Taqi al-Shirazi was a religious authority and a prominent political leader.

he led the Iraqi revolution against the English colonialists and was famous for being the leader of his twentieth revolution.

He also had a collection of poetry, including a poem on the virtues of Imam Ali (PBUH), and he was known as the Alawite poem in the Persian language.

this research deals with the elements of artistic imagery in the Alawite poem of Mirza Muhammad Taqi al-Shirazi and concludes that this great leader was not only a political man- but he was a great poet familiar with the poetic language and employed the features of artistic imagery in his Alawite poem- including vocal consistency of output and linguistic and musical connotations.

the research showed that Al-Shirazi employed vocal and musical harmony more artistically than other artistic elements in order to demonstrate the virtues of Imam Ali (PBUH) in his al-Alawiya poem so his choice of words indicates his knowledge of poetry and poetic rhetoric and his influence on Islamic literature.
