Abstract EN

The study aimed to know the required roles of the Secondary School (the teacher, curriculum, and extracurricular activities) to promote the target values in the human capability development program, which included nine values (patriotism-tolerance-moderation perseverance mastering discipline flexibility positivity determination).

The study was applied to educational supervisors in the General Administration of Education in Asir region on a sample of (164) supervisors and the study used the descriptive survey method.

The study used T-test and Analysis of Variance test.

The study results showed that the study sample agreed on the required roles of the teacher with an arithmetic mean of (4.65).

Also, they agreed on the required roles of the curriculum with an arithmetic mean of (4.60).

Finally, they agreed on the required roles of extracurricular activities with an arithmetic mean of (4.52).

The study showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the responses of the sample members about the roles required from secondary school to enhance the target values in the human capacity development program due to the study variables (specialization - years of service in education).
