Abstract EN

This research deals with emerging literary works inspired by coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19); it is particularly concerned with the narrative discourse accompanying the pandemic, in its attempt to evaluate the size of narrative literature about the epidemic.

The research approaches this topic from gender perspective, which seeks to filter these works, and categorize them into their narrative status in epidemiological literature, in order to assess what they can add to the discourse of gender and contemporary literary forms.

Hence, the research begins by introducing gender of epidemiological literature: from heritage narratives to the era before Corona, then the body of the study is divided into three sections: the scientific narrative, the self or “I”-narration, and the storytelling narration.

After that, there is the conclusion of the study, its most important results, its most prominent recommendations, and a list of its most important sources and references.
