Allah almighty revealed the Holy Qur’an as a light and guidance for people, and we worship Him by reciting the Quran and reflecting on it.

One of the things affecting its understanding is knowing the conditions and circumstances accompanying the revelation of the verses; as they contribute with other sciences to clarify the content of the verse, to understand it correctly, and then to bring it to reality, and to act according to it.

This research aims to present a fundamental study of the subject of the conditions of revelation, so the researcher explained the concept of the conditions of revelation of the Holy Qur’an, and the difference between them and the reasons for revelation, then she mentioned the methods leading to know them , and she shed light on some related examples in various fields, then she showed the importance of knowing the conditions of revelation and their impact on understanding the Qur’an with illustrations.

This research concludes that knowing the conditions of revelation helps one to understand the Holy Qur’an, contemplate on it, reach its purposes, and then act according to its rules and call people to it.
