Abstract EN

The aim of the research is to design a scale for testing the tactical knowledge of the youth category and to know its relationship to the performance of defensive and offensive plans in football.

the research sample included (5) forums side of al-Rusafa and was represented by the youth and sports forum Zafaraniya and the municipalities and the Diyala bridge and the neighborhood of victory and Algeria, where the total number of research sample for those forums (83) as for the number of players who answered the questionnaires related to the research topic, it reached (60) players, representing a percentage of 72.289%.

the scale included two axes, which are defensive plans and offensive plans.

a paragraph was formulated for these axes and the researcher used a set of statistical means for the purpose of emphasizing accuracy and scientific the cognitive scale which is (percentage, differentiation coefficient, internal adhesion coefficient, alpha coefficient) and the conclusion was 1, acceptance of 32 paragraphs for the scale and excluding 6 items from the total number of 38 items, and the researcher recommends using the cognitive test that was reached in measuring the cognitive aspect of its relationship to linear performance offensive and defensive youth football.
