Abstract EN

This research deals with a small message from the heritage of Maliki jurisprudence, in which its author, Sheikh Muhammad al-Mufaddal ibn al-Hadi, answered the issue of the ruling on a traveler's fasting, with an explanation of whether it is best for him.

fasting or against it! the importance of this research is evident in its subject matter, and through its author.

this research is divided into an introduction, two chapters, and a conclusion: the first topic dealt with the definition of sheikh Ibn Azzouz and his message, and the second topic: includes the text verified from this message.

this study was chosen to be based on the historical descriptive approach, and used it in presenting the life of the scholar Ibn Azzouz and his scientific effects, defining his message, and describing the versions adopted in the investigation.

the research concluded with a set of conclusions and results, the most important of which are: that the attribution of this message to sheikh Bin Azzouz is indisputable, and that the author concluded it by mentioning the sayings of the Maliki jurists on the topic: the ruling on the fasting of the traveler and that fasting is better for him except in jihad, for breaking the fast is better, to gain strength over the enemy.
