Abstract EN

This study aimed to record closely the level of anxiety and depression among the special-needs education classrooms at Tafila city.

To achieve the results of the study, two measures developed by the researcher of "anxiety" and "depression", were used, the test sample included two hundred students from both genders randomly chosen from Government resources classrooms at Tafila city.

The study showed the following results: the level of anxiety and depression among the students' sample was average, using the variable of gender (males and females), as well that statically significance differences seized to exist along the males' side, and showed these statically significance differences existence on the females' side of the sample.

The study recommends the necessity of the role of the educational guides by preparing trainings and health educational programs that try to decrease the levels of anxiety and depression the students of resources classrooms.

In addition to prepare seminars for parents in order to qualify them following up their children to reduce levels of anxiety and depression and to help them adapt in the school community to improve their academic performance.
