This research, titled "renewing the interpretation course: the values model as the case study -a theoretical approach-", aims to show an aspect of renewal in interpretation, which is the value model, in terms of its definition, highlighting its inportance and revealing its purposes.

the researcher followed the descriptive analytical approach to conclude that the value model in interpretation is the tendency of the interpreter to explain the qur'anic verses in terms of what they contain of Islamic values, explicitly or implicitly, and that this model is of great importance on the individual and collective level, and it can contribute to the process of values education, and the renewal of the explanatory cours in form and content.

In conclusion, the researcher recommends the necessity of teaching the subject of the value interpretation in Islamic universities, and the completion of the value interpretation project for all the Surats of the Noble Qur'an, by assigning students to researchers in the master's or doctoral programs.
