This paper explores one of the Arabic rhetoric forms and its impact on pause and topicality in Almighty Allah's Book.

it is entitled "impact of the parenthetical sentence on pause and topicality".

the paper starts with the parenthetical sentenc by defining it giving examples highlighting its syntactic position its nomenclature among scholars and its impact on pause and topicality principally.

then the positions of the parenthetical sentences are highlighted in the Qur’an indicating their meanings and the reason of their contextual occurrence and showing its impact on pause and topicality.

the conclusion contains the most important findings and recommendations.
