Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to identify the level of positive thinking and its relationship to the life quality of a sample of faculty members in the light of some demographic variables.

the research based on the correlative descriptive approach, and used to collect data, the positive thinking scale prepared by (Ingram & Weskene) and the translation of the stoic, and the life quality scale prepared by (lildamiraa).

the sample consisted of (111) faculty members, where the results showed that the faculty members have a high level of positive thinking, also the findings revealed that the sample of faculty members have a high level of life quality, however, the study did not find any differences due to the gender variable in the level of positive thinking and the level of life quality, which mean that the respondents have a high degree of positive thinking and a high life quality, while the results showed that there were statistically significant differences due to the specialization variable in favor of the owners of literary specializations, which mean that the literary majors have a higher level of positive thinking compared to those with scientific majors, in additional the study found a statistically significant correlation at the level of significance (0.01) between positive thinking and life quality, which meaning that the more positive thinking, the more the quality of life.
