Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the relationship between the level of emotional exhaustion and the level of job satisfaction among individuals working in psychological services in the Syrians Refugees camps.

(230) samples were selected by the available method, and the descriptive correlative approach was used.

To achieve the objectives of the study, two scales were developed, emotional exhaustion and job satisfaction.

Its validity and reliability have been confirmed.

The results resulted in the following : The level of emotional exhaustion and of job satisfaction among workers in the Syrian refugee camp was moderate for all fields.

There are no statistically significant differences on the emotional exhaustion scale according to the study variables (gender, educational qualification, experience), There are no statistically significant differences on the job satisfaction scale according to the variables (gender, practical qualification), and there are statistically significant differences according to the variable (experience) for the first (economic) and the second (relationships) domains, and the results came from those with more than 10 years of experience, There is a negative correlation between emotional exhaustion and job satisfaction among individuals working in psychological services in Syrian refugee camps for the second and third domains, the nature of work and relationships.

The study recommended the need to raise awareness about the dangers of emotional exhaustion.
