The security challenges posed by digital space in general and social media networks in particular have compelled the e-government to develop methods and means to regulate these spaces.

This is due to the tremendous technological development that these networks undergo, in addition to their international nature that crosses borders.

Thus, specialized entities have been established to monitor and reduce the risks posed by these networks.

However, achieving this goal often conflicts with the need to preserve the rights and freedoms of individuals, and the state's inability to regulate these networks in some cases.
