This study aimed to define the circumstances that led to the emergence of modern and contemporary Arab philosophy, which was mainly concerned with the problem of the Arab renaissance, where several currents were formed that differed among themselves in diagnosing the causes of the deterioration of the Arab renaissance and therefore differed about the factors leading to their renaissance, and in the context of this definition the most prominent features The intellectual and philosophical output of that period.

They also differed about the obstacles that prevented the development of these currents and the formation of Arab philosophical schools.
