The research aims to illustrate the concept of the interpretation by convergent, to mention the forms and types of interpretation by convergent according to Imam Al-Qurtubi in his interpretation through the inductive and analytical approach .

The research concluded with several findings, including: Interpretation by convergent means: interpretation with convergent means of connotations and meaning, interpretation by convergent falls under the difference of diversity in interpretation according to the predecessor, the language authorizes to use some words in place of each other and the meaning of some of them in place of each other, taking into account the difference in the meaning of the context.

Although the Arabic words are close in meaning, there is a difference, it is rare to find two words that denote only one meaning in every respect.

Al-Qurtubi expresses convergent in interpretation with several words close to each other, all of which are derived from the verb (converge).
