The research aims to clarify the concept of "harm" and its derivations.

It also finds out the differences between these derivations and what each of them indicates.

It also aims to compile the hadiths that refer to the negating of harm, study them, distinguish the authentic ones from others, and clarify the connotation of negating harm and the jurisprudence and rulings it refers to.

To achieve the main research objective of this study, the researcher adopted the inductive, analytical and critical method.

The study’s findings found that the concept of “harm” has become apparent.

It may have multiple meanings, such as the opposite of benefit, combining something, and strength.

The substance also differs according to its derivations and the difference in its vowels in Arabic.

For example, it may mean affliction, damage, or co-wife.

In the hadiths, Negating harm also refers to negating falsity, dispute, violation, harassment, prevention, sedition, pillage, blame, deficiency, influence, harming others, etc.

It turns out the importance of this chapter is due to the issues included therein on specific topics.

The total number of its hadiths is (28), of which 16 hadiths are authentic, and (1) hadith have a good chain of narration, and (11) hadiths have a weak chain of narration
