Arabic Abstract

هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على أثر نوع القطاع كمتغير معدل في العلاقة بين الاستثمار في تكنولوجيا المعلومات والأداء المالي في الشركات المدرجة في بورصة عمان، كما بينت الدراسة أبعاد الاستثمار في تكنولوجيا المعلومات المتمثلة في (البرمجيات، والمعدات)، إضافة إلى أبعاد الأداء المالي المتمثلة في (العائد على الأصول، والعائد على حقوق الملكية)، وتكون مجتمع الدراسة من الشركات المدرجة في بورصة عمان وعددها (75)، تم الاعتماد على المنهج الكمي Quantitative approach بالاعتماد على الأساليب الإحصائية (اختبار الاحصائيات الوصفية واختبار الاعتدالية، واختبار معامل التضخم ومصفوفة الارتباطات البينية واختبار تجانس الأخطاء والانحدار الخطي المتعدد)، واستخدام برمجية Eviews، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج كان من اهمها: وجود تأثير ذو دلالة إحصائية للاستثمار في تكنولوجيا المعلومات على الأداء المالي بالإضافة الى وجود تأثير سلبي للاستثمار بالمعدات على كل من مؤشرات الأداء المالي العائد على الأصول والعائد على حقوق الملكية، وان نوع القطاع لا يعدل العلاقة بين تكنولوجيا المعلومات على الأداء المالي، وبناء عليه أوصت الدراسة بأنه من المهم ان تطور الشركات المدرجة في بورصة عمان لقدراتها التكنولوجية من خلال زيادة الاستثمار، بالإضافة الى قيام المديرين الماليين بدراسة المؤشرات المالية بشكل دقيق مما يحسن من هذه المؤشرات.

English Abstract

The study aimed to identify the impact of the sector type as a modified variable in the relationship between investment in information technology and financial performance in the companies listed on the Amman Stock Exchange.

return on assets, return on equity), and the study population consisted of companies listed on the Amman Stock Exchange (75), the quantitative approach was relied upon based on statistical methods (descriptive statistics test, moderation test, inflation coefficient test, inter-correlation matrix, and homogeneity test errors and multiple linear regression), and the use of Eviews software.

The study found a number of results, the most important of which were: the presence of a statistically significant effect of investment in information technology on financial performance, in addition to the presence of a negative effect of investment in equipment on each of the financial performance indicators, the return on assets and the return on Ownership rights, and that the type of sector does not explain the relationship between information technology on financial performance.

Accordingly, the study recommended that it is important for companies listed on the Amman Stock Exchange to develop their technological capabilities through increased investment, in addition to financial managers studying financial indicators accurately, which improves their performance.
