Abstract EN

Our study aims this cultural approach to the novel of the Iraqi Ali Badrtagged Baba Sartre, through questioning characterized strategies of culturalcriticism in touching the patterns of representations of the crisis of theintellectual as embodied in the novel through the concept of naughty awareness, What we mean here by naughty awareness is the awareness of the Arab manhimself as embodied in the novel.

The cultural reading approach helps us to follow the paths of the novelaccording to its artistic and visionary adoption, when the novelist passes hisformats to describe the degree of the Arab intellectual's crisis, that is, when thecontradiction reaches a degree in which consciousness may not recognize itself.

It is the awareness of alienation, and the paradox occurs when the self discoversworlds that are paradoxical to its nature, so it gets lost when it wants to return toits own worlds.
