Abstract EN

The Study aimed to identify the Legal Protection of prisoners in Reform and Rehabilitation Centers in Jordanian Legislation compared to the relevant international legislation; the study consisted of two chapters, the first chapter concerning on the definition of prisoners and the second chapter be devoted to manifestation of the legal protection of prisoners' rights in reform and rehabilitation centers compared to the international legislation; and then conclusion, findings and recommendations; And for that, analytical-description and comparative methods were use.

The Researchers concluded to several finding, the most significant that the prisoners possess several rights had enjoyed constitutional guarantees compliant with the international legislation; Moreover, the Researchers recommended several recommendations, the most significant that provision on the manner of the inspection in rules regulating for Reform and Rehabilitation Centers; to ensure the prisoners dignity during the inspection.
