Islamic Sharia confirms that human souls should be protected regardless of lineage, gender, color and race, especially the children and dull persons who need aid and the like, and among them are foundlings, who there are many and few of them in the community.

Thus, this study addresses this topic entitled "spending on a foundling in Islamic Sharia" to clarify what is meant by a foundling, the ruling who finds a foundling, spending on a foundling, and the rules related to spending in terms of spending on him from his money or from the Muslin Treasury House or any other organization if he does not have money or he has not enough money, and other detailed rules for spending, which totally confirm what the Islamic Sharia urged of the necessity of protecting the foundling from perishing, taking care and welfare.
