The research problem arises in Ibn Manzur's frequent use of abnormal readings, and how did he deal with them? The research aims to clarify the approach of Ibn Manzur, including the anomalous readings with reference to the readers, directing them, and judging them with an explanation of the most correct ones.

The research dealt with: a brief translation by ibn Manzur, Ibn Manzur transferred the readings from the people of the language, the ratio and direction of the readings and citing them, and the judgment and weighting.

The research concluded with a number of results, the most important of which are: Lisan al Arab is a scientific encyclopedia full of various arts.

Most likely, Ibn Manzur should not attribute the abnormal readings to those who read them.

Ibn Manzur transmitted some abnormal readings from the books of the people of language, not from the books of the people of the readings.
