This research is concerned with studying one of the most important concepts in pragmatics, which - according to the gradual classification that Hanson put in his program - represents a secondorder pragmatic; Because of its complexity, ambiguity and dependence on the context in a large way, this study is also interested in presenting the theoretical and philosophical basis from which the theory of assumptions was launched, and the deliberative extension of that basis, and the most important differences or developments that occurred in the concept, on the other hand, the study starts in analyzing the assumptions in a number of uses The Qur’anic commentary on the Qur’anic commentary, to find out what surrounds these uses of phenomena and semantic and pragmatic outputs.
