The current search aims: Intellectual competence of university students.

The research is limited by University of Baghdad students of both sexes and specialization for the academic year (2020- 2021).Moreover، to achieve the objectives، the researcher has done the following: Adopting the original copy of the intellectual competence scale of (Janosik، Creamer، Cross1993)consists of (10) items، and the researcher has extracted the scale reliability and validity ،Each scale has been developed for five alternatives (apply to me، sometimes apply to it، often applicable، never apply).

The researcher has applied the scale on the sample of 400 students of the University of Baghdad، which was selected according to the stratified random sampling method from the study population.The university students have intellectual competence.In light of the research results، the researcher gives a number of recommendations and suggestions.
