The aim of the research is to identify 1-The level of unrealistic optimism among middle school students 2-The level of automatic judgments about self among middle school students 3-The correlation between unrealistic optimism and automatic judgments about self among middle school students The research sample consisted of 150 students, which were selected in a stratified random way from middle school students.

Al-Manshedi's scale (2019) was used for unrealistic optimism, consisting of 38 items, and Salama's (1998) scale was used to measure automatic judgments about the self, which consisted of 20 items.

The current research reached the following results: The level of unrealistic optimism among the research sample was low.
