The ways of novelists and storytellers differed and their methods of presenting the characters, so many critics give different and multiple names to these methods.

Other fictional, or by means of the self-description the hero makes about himself in a literary work.

As for the indirect method of presentation, we find the writer leaves the reader to draw conclusions related to the character, and comment on them either through the events in which the character participates, or through the way the character looks at others.

The method of presenting the character is one of the technical ways that the novelist pleads, in order to introduce the reader to his characters in the novel, and in this research I addressed the topic of ways to present the character in the novels of Abbas Latif, and I found that it is inspired by more than one method, and here I will address two methods in this research, they are 1-Direct Submission: Description via (the knowing narrator) 2-Indirect Submission: (Dialogue).
