The current research aims to identify : The level of creative teaching skills for teachers of history in the preparatory stage.

Suggestions for developing the creative teaching skills of history teachers in the preparatory stage.

To achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher followed the descriptive survey method, specifically the method of work analysis (job analysis) As for the research community, it was represented by the history teachers of the middle stage in Diyala Governorate for the academic year(2021-2022).

The number of them is (986) schools and teachers, and then the basic research sample was chosen by the simple cluster method, which amounted to (277) schools and teachers, and the researcher used the questionnaire as a tool for the current research, which included (6) main skills Each skill included a number of indicators, as the number of indicators reached (72), and the apparent validity, structural honesty and the internal consistency coefficient of the search tool were extracted, and then the stability was extracted by the two methods of repetition, as the value of the reliability coefficient was (0,84).

and Cronbach's alpha method (0.86).

In order to extract the results of the current research, the researcher used the statistical package for social sciences (Spss 25) to analyze the data and then interpret it.

In light of the results obtained, the researcher concluded a set of conclusions, recommendations and suggestions.
