The current research is concerned with studying (the dialectic of time and space in the drawings of abstract expressionism-Jackson Pollock as a model) to identify that dialectic and the possibility of showing the artistic and aesthetic aspects according to the concepts of time and space in the art products according to the mechanisms of their work in the stream of abstract expressionism.

The first chapter included the research methodological framework that dealt with the problem of The research, its importance and the need for it, and the research objective represented by (knowing the dialectic of time and place in the drawings of abstract expressionism-Jackson Pollock as a model), as well as the limits of the research (1948-1958) and the first chapter ended with identifying the most important terms contained in the research The second dealt with the philosophical and aesthetic premises of contemporary art and the features of time and space in the drawings of the artists of abstract expressionism.
