The court area, which is the authority that has civil jurisdiction, does not contain a single court, but rather contains multiple courts.

- The civil judiciary, just as it does not take up the judicial function in general, does not take up the judicial function of the courts, even though it takes up the bulk of this last function.

- There are multiple layers of courts in the country for two basic considerations: The first consideration: Adopting the principle of two-level litigation, which requires the existence of courts of first instance and courts of appeal.

The second consideration: adopting the cassation system, which requires the presence of a supreme court above the previous two classes.

These two considerations are principles that are taken into account by the majority of legislation, including Egyptian legislation.
