Abstract EN

This research paper handles a critical study of western thinking in The story of the Virtue wins by bintulhoda .It shows some characters with their thinking and motivations and being affected by the western thinking .And it shows some characters' immunity against that thinking with their religious and ethical commitment.the study found that some characters, due to having been in the West for a period of time, have been affected by the western thinking that is different from the Islamic way of thinking.

They follow decadent and silly views and this is what is condemned by the writer herself .Whereas, despite being faced with the same circumstances, some other characters refuse capriciousness and being drifted by fake appearances and decadent thinking, and Islam does not mean abandoning life but abandoning what abuse that life.
