In this article, we address the topic of “pragmatics” in the modern Arabic lesson in terms of terminology and the differences of opinions around it, and determining its placement, considering pragmatics as a modern linguistic science that has spread in recent decades alongside “structuralism” and “generative-transformational” Arab thinkers' terminology for the concept of pragmatics ales varied and varied due to its nature, which overlaps in several sciences such as “psychology” “anthropology,” and “philosophy” in addition, we sought to height some models of modern Arabic pragmatic studies to demonstrate some of the efforts of Arab researchers in investigating and studying this modern science, which is mainly concerned with the colonial aspect language, by referring to the writings of ancient Arab scholars, and highlighting the pragmatic concepts contained in them, among those researchers we find: Ahmed al-Mutawakkil, Taha Abdel Rahman, Masoud Sahraoui and Abd Elhadi Bin Dhafer al Shehri.
