Abstract EN

The purpose of our study is to determine the causes of occupational stress experienced by elementary school teachers in the DAIRA of Ain el Ibel-Djelfa.

we used a descriptive technique since it is the most appropriate for researching the subject of occupational stress and its causes in order to meet the study's objectives and validate its hypotheses.

a questionnaire with three axes-sources linked to student behaviors, sources connected to working circumstances, and sources related to the curriculum-was used to gather data on potential sources of occupational stress.

64 primary school teachers who made up a basic random sample were given the questionnaire.

we came at the following conclusions about our study: the following factors can lead to occupational stress for primary school teachers: the curriculum, working conditions, and student conduct.
