Abstract EN

We aim through this paper to search for the persuasive dimension of the contemporary Maghreb poetic discourse; relying on argumentative mechanisms; and that is by standing on it in the poetry of Muhammad al-Ash'ari, taking from the poem “Obour” as a model for study.

by looking at its as a persuasive and entertaining argument, such as repetition, metaphor, and others.

and the search for what helped in the harmony and consistency of this discourse.

hence, the research aims to solve the following problem: is it possible for the argumentative approach in the poem “crossing” to discover its persuasive and entertaining capacities?
