competition protection is one of the fundamental obligations established by international and comparative law in the field of trade protection and foreign and domestic investments.

it has become important and necessary for the state at the local level to work diligently to regulate and control it by imposing restrictions that prohibit any practices that may restrict or prevent competition within the market.

the Algerian legislator responded to this issue by establishing legal rules in the field of competition that work to regulate and protect the market from such practices.

this raises questions about the extent to which the institution exploits the dominant position from the perspective of the Algerian competition law 03-03, as amended and supplemented.
