Abstract EN

This research paper aims to study the contribution of the agricultural concession contract as a mechanism for agricultural investment activity in order to achieve the objectives of the national agricultural policy in our country, based on the concept of sustainable agricultural development, especially since the legislator has worked to unify the pattern of exploitation of public real estate of all kinds exclusively through the concession contract.

this study concluded that the agricultural concession contract has contributed significantly to creating a suitable climate to encourage agricultural investment in Algeria, through legal and economic guarantees for the benefit of the agricultural investor, as well as in the field of protection of agricultural real estate, but this contribution is still below the level of ambitions for sustainable agricultural development, which requires concerted efforts of both the state and the private sector to achieve it on the ground.
