In a period of economic recession, Algeria is obliged, more than ever before, to adopt the model of a public-private partnership contract for its economic effectiveness, which is currently seen as a transmitter of economic recovery in the country.

however, the use of such contracts of Anglo-Saxon origin raises an important question of their legal adaptation.

I will therefore try to highlight the public-private partnership contract as a model for privatization of public facility, by identifying its characteristics, and by trying to clarify the legal nature of the contract.

the partnership contract was also highlighted as an old and ongoing practice, describing the partnership models of the most important European states.

this type of partnership has evolved in recent years in Algeria, particularly through the partnership between the Algerian public authorities and foreign private companies to carry out infrastructure projects for the desalination of seawater.
