Several studies indicate that most countries have reached the limits of fossil energy use, especially in major industrialized countries.

with the growing devastating environmental effects, calls have emerged calling for the need to turn to the exploitation of renewable energies to protect the environment and achieve energy security.

in this context, this paper comes to study this problem in the Arab region.

the most important challenges facing renewable energies exploitation where highlighted, and in return we presented solutions according to the 2030 renewable energies roadmap.

the study concluded that a smooth energy transition can be achieved if effective policies are adopted to efficiently exploit human potential and natural renewable energies resources.
