The sectarian policies of the ruling elite in Lebanon have proven their failure, and their direct responsibility for the economic and political collapse of the state.

the Lebanon’s issue, like many other underdeveloped countries, lies in the cycle of recurring crises that create a sense of political chaos, under a corrupt political class.

this reflects the weakness of the state and lack of social cohesion and solidarity, leading to a deep political crises, economic problems, and the state's inability to provide the basic necessities and conditions of life.

this has made the Lebanese people anxious about the future of their country and fearful of the conflict shifts into an open security problem, leading to a civil conflict or a civil war that would return Lebanon to 1975 era.
