Abstract EN

This study seeks to investigate the complexity dynamic of internal conflicts in general and identity conflicts in particular, by highlighting the possibilities of expanding the spatio-temporal context of the conflict on the one hand, and by tracing its internal repercussions (the spread of violent actors) and external (refugee flows and the emergence of new security threats) the conflict over national security and regional security on the other hand, which are considered to be expanded mechanisms, in light of the clear contradiction between the multiplicity of components of societal identity and the unity of the nation-state, as is the case for pluralist states in general and south East Asia specifically.
